For a long time, we've had the same boat mounting options. A lot of the pieces needed to be paired with components from other companies. While that worked, we had a vision to come out with our own boat mounting line without having to source from other companies.

Where It Started

As forward-facing sonar became more common, so did the demand for better mounting solutions. We were talking to customers running:

• bass boats
• aluminum boats
• pontoons
• kayaks & etc.
  

Everyone had a slightly different setup and it was challenging to find solid mounts for every boat. Especially for people who wanted to use the same boat mount with different boats or track systems. That’s where the idea for the Apex Boat Mount started. Not just another mount but a top of the line boat mount that will work on almost every boat. 

Why We Built It

We didn’t want to rely on outside mounting solutions anymore. We wanted to build something that:

• worked seamlessly with our carbon fiber poles and Shuttle
• fit more boats without extra hassle
• made adjustments easier on the water

And most importantly—

👉 something that felt like it actually belonged in a Summit setup

Because when someone buys from us, they’re not just buying a part. They’re building a complete system.

Built for Real Boat Setups

The goal with the Apex Boat Mount was simple:

👉 Make it work where other mounts don’t.

That meant designing it to be compatible with:

• standard 3” wide tracks
• popular track adapters
• rail mounting options
• kayak setups

And we’re not stopping there. We’re already working toward making it adaptable for deck mounting as well—because not every boat fits into one category.

Everything about the Apex Boat Mount was built with the full setup in mind. It mounts directly to our carbon fiber transducer pole, creating a clean and seamless connection from your electronics to your boat.

It’s not just another option. It’s the result of everything we’ve learned from building setups, working with customers, and seeing what works—and what doesn’t—on the water.

It’s built to be the top end of our boat mounting lineup. And it’s just the beginning.
